Listening Session – Local Policing: Forming a Citizens Oversight Board

The La Crosse County Criminal Justice Management Council (CJMC), the City of La Crosse, and multiple partners are inviting the public to provide input on the need for a La Crosse area Civilian Oversight Board on Policing. The goal is to build trust and strengthen relationships between the police and our communities by ensuring accessible and safe processes of accountability and conflict resolution. The subcommittee is seeking public input on the structure, scope, and responsibilities of such a board, in keeping with our commitment to community engagement.
