Join us on Saturday, August 9th for the La Crosse August Ball Celebration at 6:30 PM at the Cappella Performing Arts Center, 721 King Street, La Crosse, WI 54601.
The August Ball not only commemorates the Emancipation Day of August 1, 1887, it is also for us to celebrate the liberation of enslaved people, first in the Caribbean, and then eventually the end of slavery in this country.
The August Ball was celebrated in the La Crosse Community in 1887, so please join Enduring Families Project, BLACK, Black Student Leaders, Hope Restores and the Juneteenth Committee as we come together to celebrate a night of freedom and community as our youth also perform a time-honored cotillion tradition.
Don’t miss out on this unforgettable event filled with elegance and grace.
RSVP now to secure your spot at this special celebration. We can’t wait to see you there!
