Event Details
SSP is a pre-college program for adults who are thinking about college with spring and fall sessions. Offered at the UWL campus and designed with single-parents in mind, this 12-week program offers free on-site childcare and parking for all sessions. In a small group setting, participants will explore their education and career interests, learn of the programs, majors, and services at area colleges, and practice college level skills. Students learn about admissions, financial aid, and scholarships, including the Locally Grown Scholarship for SSP students attending area colleges. An online or paper application is required.
