The second in a series of programs presented by Women Supporting Women Globally (WSWG), this talk, “Understanding Iran’s Feminist Revolution” by Dr. Sona Kazemi, UWL, will explore how Iranian women came to be in their current position and offer ways we can show support for them. April 20, 6-7pm, UWL Centennial Hall, Rm 1309. Free and open to the public.
WSWG is co-sponsored by AAUW La Crosse, UWL’s RGSS Dept, Viterbo University’s division of DEI and WTC’s DEI office. Our goal is to create awareness of women’s works and struggles globally and create action plans to support each other.
