Event Details

In the United States, 20 people are physically abused every minute at the hands of an intimate partner. Domestic Violence Awareness Month is a time to spread awareness about the gravity of the effects of domestic violence in our communities.

Community members can also attend a gathering and awareness walk starting at Cameron Park at 5 pm on Tuesday October 5th. After a short program, there will be a peaceful walk through Downtown La Crosse. Organizers request that attendees wear purple at this event to show support to survivors. This is a family friendly event that will include games and light refreshments.

For more information about these events, contact Rosanne at 608-791-2610 ext. 1309 or at ra2@nhagainstabuse.org.
